I recently finished playing this. Man, what an excellent game. I'm really glad Dan recommended it. I agree with the description that it's like Portal (it felt longer to me, though) but not a comedy. It feels more mysterious than Portal in its narrative, which is what really sucked me in. And it ran fine on my 6-year old laptop.Dan wrote: ↑Tue Nov 06, 2018 7:22 pmOn the topic of recommendations, The Talos Principal is on Steam for $10. Everyone should play that game. I'd say it's a lot like Portal, except it's not a comedy. It's really good, though. System requirements are really low, too, so anyone should be able to run it.

I don't know if anyone else has a VR rig, but I just added this game to my Steam wish list. Looks like developers are starting to figure out what VR should be, not just an Xbox game viewed in an HMD. I think one of the biggest hurdles right now is how rudimentary the controllers are compared to where they need to be. Valve's prototype in this video seems like a step in the right direction.

I'm not sure yet what my Xbox situation will be when we move back overseas (I didn't have one in China, and I haven't bought one since being back in the US), but if I don't have one, I will probably buy the Master Chief Collection for PC that was recently announced. Assuming that whatever new laptop I get in the near future can run it, of course. Is anyone else considering getting it?
